We mow when we need to. Normally during the Spring and Fall this comes to about 3 to 4 cuts a month. During the Summer this normally lessens to 2 to 3 cuts a month. Now, if you have irrigation or water frequently this may turn into 4 to 6 cuts a month even during the summer.
We will trim grass away from around trees, around the house along sidewalks/driveways. One thing we do on every mow, as a courtesy, is try to pull at least some of the weeds that litter your flower/tree beds.

Not at all. Affordable Property Care uses slow-release fertilizers that will not harm your lawn during the heat of summer. In fact, our fertilizers actually help your lawn survive the summer heat stress.

During the summer your lawn should always be mowed at 3 inches or higher. If you can't tell where 3 inches is at on your mower then you should mow at the highest level possible. If you don't do this your lawn will brown out and be more susceptible to weeds and diseases!
